Public Country by Country Report (on income tax information)

Introduction

This Country by Country Report has been prepared to comply with applicable public tax transparency requirements, including Directive (EU) 2021/2101 and relevant national legislation in certain European countries. Its sole purpose is to provide the required jurisdictional overview of PPG’s income taxes, economic activity, and presence for transparency purposes based on the reporting framework prescribed for public country by country disclosures. Data disclosed in this report is prepared under reporting principles specific to public country by country regulations and may differ from the principles applied in PPG’s consolidated financial statements or the statutory financial statements of its subsidiaries. As such, the information should not be interpreted as indicative of PPG’s or any of its subsidiaries’ financial performance, effective tax rate, future tax outcomes, or value creation in any individual jurisdiction.
